After a long time i read Hindi newspaper, quite famous in my region.
Its not quite easy for me to read Hindi newspaper, not because my Hindi reading is bad or i don't like reading Hindi, but because what i read in most of Hindi newspapers irritates me.
Here is one description which made me say Live and let live.
Referring to second page of the newspaper, there were news related to region which of course is Haryana. Except one article all were saying the same thing..RESERVATION.
Some Punjabi leader was asking the government reservation for Punjabi group,and then, a Jatt leader said apparently they are the one who are in minority in the state so they must be on the priority in reservation.
Moreover, if given a thought, for whom are they actually asking reservation, are not really interested in their talks. If asked a Punjabi whether he really claims for reservation the answer might be a silent slap on on his leaders' face. He said all he needs is a place where he could live and grow his family in peace.
Reservation is not my necessity, if i am left on my own.
A common man is just a man and what he becomes later is the shadow of our society which grips him from all sides left nowhere to go.
This reservation funda works for political leaders in enhancing their concerns for their people which actually implies for their political group. Getting trapped in their fake promises is one thing which we do almost always. We choose them for our beneficary and all this ends up into nothing but a mess where the chosen one says and chooser agrees no matter what he says no matter what he actually says.
The broad question which arises here is:
Why is the common man not allowed to take care of himself?
All i can understand from these articles is that living may not require efforts but worth living does (:
